You will join as a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Paris, architecting and developing delightful web experiences for hundreds of thousands of sports fans worldwide. Your responsibilities include building and shipping web features used weekly by the global user base, driving projects from inception through launch, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to execute the product roadmap while owning metrics and outcomes. You will leverage AI as a productivity multiplier (60% of PRs use AI-assisted workflows), care deeply about performance and mobile experience, and help shape the company's web strategy.
The role is hybrid with 3 days per week in the Paris office and up to 2 days remote. REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping high-traffic consumer web products
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Production experience with GraphQL
- Strong understanding of web performance (load times, mobile smoothness, degraded networks)
- Fluent spoken and written English and French
- Ability to ship fast, measure success, and iterate
- Bias for simplicity and solving complex problems with elegant solutions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality without perfectionism
- Autonomous, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of outcomes
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
