Salary: USD 192,000 - 240,000 / annual
Brex is an intelligent finance platform enabling companies to spend smarter and move faster across 200+ markets. The platform combines global corporate cards and banking with spend management, bill pay, and travel software, powered by AI-native automation.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work across Brex's full stack, creating and maintaining new products and features while building tools to scale the platform. You'll have the opportunity to push the frontier of financial software experiences, working on metric-driven initiatives to help companies grow and prepare for new market expansion. The role emphasizes leading multi-functional projects with complex moving pieces, driving direct business impact, and shaping long-term technical vision with a high-quality bar.
You'll collaborate with engineers across the company to build new features and products, work side-by-side with customer-facing teams (Sales, Support) to understand customer needs, design and implement experiments to improve customer experiences, and own problems end-to-end—thinking through user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics. You'll also tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.
The role is based in the Vancouver office with a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available as a perk.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies and tools (ES6+, React, TypeScript, Webpack)
- Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end to end
- Experience developing client-facing software products
- Ability to uphold high engineering standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
