Salary: USD 192,000 - 240,000 / annual

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work across the entire Brex stack to create and maintain new products and features while building tools to scale the platform. You'll have the opportunity to push the frontier of financial software experiences and help companies grow. The role emphasizes being metric and data-driven, thinking creatively about scaling, and leading multi-functional projects with multiple moving pieces. You'll drive direct business impact and shape long-term technical vision while maintaining a high-quality bar.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with engineers across the company to build new features and products
- Working side-by-side with user-facing teams (Sales, Support) to understand customer needs
- Designing and implementing experiments to improve customer experiences
- Owning problems end-to-end, considering user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and metrics
- Tuning and polishing features to a high degree of excellence
The role is based in the New York office with a hybrid environment requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies and tools (ES6+, React, TypeScript, Webpack)
- Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end-to-end
- Experience developing client-facing software products
- Ability to uphold high engineering standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
