Salary: USD 192,000 - 240,000 / annual

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work across Brex's full stack to create and maintain products and features that help scale the platform. You'll have the opportunity to push the frontier of financial software experiences and help companies grow. The role emphasizes being metric and data-driven, thinking creatively about scaling, and leading multi-functional projects with complex moving pieces.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with engineers across the company to build new features and products
- Working directly with customer-facing teams (Sales, Support) to understand customer needs
- Designing and implementing experiments to improve customer experiences
- Owning problems end-to-end, considering user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and metrics
- Polishing features to a high standard of excellence
You'll need 7+ years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies including ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack. Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end-to-end is essential, as is a track record developing client-facing software products. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Bonus qualifications include experience with React Native for mobile, design tools, excellent writing skills, and a proactive approach. The role is based in Brex's New York office with a hybrid structure requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
