As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Flutter, you will design, create, and maintain Tide's rich mobile product catalogue. You'll work within small autonomous teams organized by domain, each owning micro-frontends that contribute to Tide's unified platform experience. This role emphasizes technical ownership and decision-making that impacts multiple teams and shapes the future direction of the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building new and existing mobile products for various business areas
- Solving complex technical problems on an exciting product roadmap
- Learning and sharing knowledge with engineers through experimentation, T-shaped engineering practices, and collaborative learning
- Mentoring less experienced engineers and contributing to their growth
- Collaborating with product owners, UI/UX designers, architects, and cross-functional team members to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions
- Participating in the Flutter Community of Practice, providing input on process improvements and quality standards
- Ensuring a resilient, error-free, and scalable codebase while delivering exceptional user experiences
