DeepL is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Business Acceleration Track (BAT), the engine driving enterprise adoption of its Language AI platform. You will architect and ship revenue-critical features for DeepL's transition from consumer-focused product to mission-critical enterprise platform, owning the full vertical from React-based Admin Console to distributed C#/.NET backend systems.
Key responsibilities include designing complex enterprise licensing and automated seat provisioning flows, building tools that empower CIOs and IT Directors to manage DeepL at scale, and ensuring billing systems are immutable, auditable, and resilient. You will bridge engineering and business, working directly with Sales, Product, and Finance to translate revenue goals into scalable technical architectures. The role demands deep expertise in enterprise domain problems: Identity & Access Management (SSO, SCIM), multi-seat subscription architectures, fraud prevention, RBAC, and compliance.
You are expected to be a full-stack engineer comfortable designing React components in the morning and debugging distributed transactions in the afternoon. The ideal candidate has a product-first mindset, high agency, and genuine curiosity about hard B2B SaaS problems. You leverage AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate velocity and eliminate repetitive work, focusing your cognitive energy on high-value architectural decisions.
DeepL operates a Unified Engineering Pipeline, matching strong candidates to the highest-priority role across Core Product, Platform, Voice, or Enterprise teams. The company was founded in 2017, has ~1,000 employees across 228 global markets, and is backed by Benchmark, IVP, and Index Ventures. Over 200,000 business customers and millions of individuals trust DeepL's translation and writing platform.
