You will join the Business Acceleration Track (BAT), described as the engine room of DeepL's global growth. While research teams build the models, BAT builds the Revenue Flywheel enabling 200,000+ enterprises (including Fortune 500 companies) to use and pay for them at scale. You will be part of the team architecting the "Financial Nervous System" of DeepL—handling Identity & Access Management (SSO, SCIM), complex multi-seat subscription architectures, and fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect revenue-critical flows: design and ship complex, high-stakes features like Enterprise Licensing or Automated Seat Provisioning, ensuring instant UX and immutable billing ledgers.
- Own the Enterprise Experience: build tools empowering CIOs and IT Directors to manage DeepL, translating complex backend constraints (RBAC, rate limits) into elegant UI workflows.
- Bridge Engineering and Business: work directly with Sales, Product, and Finance to translate Annual Recurring Revenue goals into scalable technical architectures.
- Drive System Reliability: build for idempotency and resilience, ensuring financial data is auditable and flawless while maintaining high-velocity frontend experience.
You will own the full vertical—from user-facing Admin Console in React to distributed billing logic in C#/.NET. The role emphasizes that a perfect AI model is useless if a Global Enterprise cannot provision it securely to 50,000 employees.
Desired Qualities:
- Product-first mindset: care deeply about customer journey and how features close Enterprise deals.
- Full-stack fluency: comfortable traversing the stack, designing React components in the morning and debugging distributed transactions in the afternoon.
- Enterprise domain curiosity: interested in hard B2B SaaS problems—Identity (SAML/SSO), Monetization, Compliance—understanding these as pillars of enterprise trust.
- High agency: proactive problem-solving; if billing reconciliation is slow, automate it; if API documentation is unclear, fix it.
- AI-native velocity: leverage AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate velocity, using AI for boilerplate, test generation, and debugging to focus cognitive energy on high-value architectural decisions.
