Salary: USD 163,000 - 214,000 / annual
Algolia is a market-leading AI Search platform powering 18,000+ businesses and 30 billion search requests weekly. The Enterprise Commerce – Data team designs and maintains integrations that connect commerce platforms with Algolia's search infrastructure.
In this role, you will own the design, development, and evolution of Algolia's Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) integration, including its architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction. You'll take technical work from design through delivery and ongoing improvement, writing technical RFCs and contributing to architecture decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining production-grade SFCC integrations with deep ownership of the platform
- Improving quality, reliability, and maintainability of the integration
- Investigating and resolving complex integration issues across Engineering, Product, Support, and customer-facing teams
- Providing technical input to roadmap planning with level-of-effort estimates
- Collaborating across teams to identify opportunities for integration evolution
You should bring extensive SFCC experience with deep knowledge of SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, and B2C Commerce APIs. Strong JavaScript skills are essential, along with experience in TypeScript, Node.js, and external API integrations. You'll need solid software engineering fundamentals including automated testing, debugging, code quality, and maintainable design. The ability to own complex technical problems, communicate findings through technical documentation and RFCs, and work collaboratively across technologies is critical.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with Algolia, search/indexing systems, React, headless commerce, Adobe Commerce, PHP, Adobe Commerce Cloud Service, Adobe App Builder, and other enterprise commerce platforms. Experience building or maintaining publicly distributed cartridges, plugins, SDKs, integrations, or open-source software is also valued.
