You'll join the Endpoint Agent team as a Senior Software Engineer, working on low-level systems software that runs directly on customer devices. This is a highly technical role centered on systems programming and building production-grade, reliable software.
The endpoint agent is written primarily in Rust with C++ components, operating at the OS level on Windows and macOS. You'll design and build core capabilities that interact closely with operating system internals, develop high-performance software, and work across backend services to deliver end-to-end functionality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building core endpoint agent capabilities
- Developing high-performance Rust and C++ software for customer endpoints
- Building features that interact with Windows and macOS internals
- Collaborating with Product, Security Research, and Platform Engineering teams
- Ensuring production-grade reliability, performance, and security
You bring 5+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in low-level or systems software using Rust, C++, or similar languages. You have a strong understanding of operating systems and system internals, with hands-on experience working at the OS level on Windows, macOS, or Linux. You're comfortable building production-quality software in a fast-moving startup environment.
Bonus experience includes endpoint security product development, production Rust experience, or background in cybersecurity and enterprise software.
