Salary: CAD 174,487 - 205,332 / annual
Binance.US is a licensed and regulated U.S. cryptocurrency exchange offering trading, custody, and earning opportunities for digital assets. The Senior Software Engineer, DevOps role is part of the Infrastructure Engineering team, reporting to the DevOps Lead.
You will design, build, and optimize scalable infrastructure and CI/CD systems supporting Binance.US's critical platform services. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on infrastructure reliability, security, and performance at scale.
Core responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery across multiple environments
- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Security, SRE, and Product teams to improve system reliability, observability, and incident response
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools
- Monitor system performance, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, outages, and reliability risks
- Implement and enforce DevOps best practices including infrastructure as code, version control, and release management
- Partner with Security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security standards
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, Bash)
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong understanding of system design, networking, and distributed systems
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Ability to work independently on complex projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
