Salary: USD 170,000 - 205,000 / annual

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute layer for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates the full stack from power generation through cloud services, positioning itself at the intersection of energy, manufacturing, and AI compute. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Datacenter Operations Platform team, you will design and develop internal tooling and infrastructure management systems that power Crusoe Cloud. Your work will directly support datacenter facilities managers, capacity planners, and operations teams as the company scales its hardware footprint dramatically. Key responsibilities include: - Designing advanced internal tooling for datacenter facilities management and capacity planning - Building automation software for rapid deployment and configuration of servers, network switches, power delivery units (PDUs), and coolant delivery units (CDUs) - Mentoring junior engineers through design guidance and code reviews - Innovating features that streamline infrastructure management and operational capabilities - Collaborating with cloud support and operations teams to develop tools that enable growth - Partnering cross-functionally to optimize resource utilization and infrastructure management - Leading by example in technical excellence and fostering innovation You will work with modern infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform), CI/CD systems (GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, GitHub Actions), and distributed systems at scale. The role requires deep expertise in building highly available, fault-tolerant systems and understanding infrastructure design trade-offs. This is a high-impact role where you'll directly influence how Crusoe manages and scales its datacenter operations as the company grows.
