Diligent is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve the production data platform serving delivery, product, and engineering teams. You will design integrated, governed data pipelines; deliver automated reporting and AI-assisted workflows; and ensure the correctness of data that leaders depend on for decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
• Design and operate the cloud data platform, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and serving layers.
• Integrate data from across the business—delivery tooling, CRM, product telemetry, finance, support, and customer feedback systems—using shared identifiers, data contracts, and lineage tracking.
• Build automated, continuously refreshed reporting so teams manage by exception rather than chasing status updates.
• Connect approved AI agents to governed data with structured outputs, provenance, guardrails, and human approval workflows.
• Write production code, design systems, own CI/CD pipelines, and be accountable for data quality and reliability.
You will be a technical leader on the data platform, working cross-functionally with product, delivery, and engineering teams. This role requires strong systems thinking, experience with modern data stack tools, and a commitment to data governance and quality. Must be based in Vancouver.
