Tabs is an AI-native revenue platform automating the contract-to-cash lifecycle for modern finance and accounting teams. Founded in 2023 and backed by Lightspeed, General Catalyst, and Primary with $91M+ raised, the company helps high-growth businesses like Cursor and Statsig automate billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting.
You'll join the Data Ingest team within the Integrations org, owning critical systems that handle data from any source—real-time CRM syncs, usage events, and the customer/commercial graph. As data volumes surge with AI-era usage-based billing adoption, this team's infrastructure must scale significantly.
Key responsibilities include: owning the usage-to-billing pipeline (ingesting raw events, aggregating, enabling dynamic pricing); building and scaling real-time CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot) toward a platform that onboards new sources without custom code; designing and extending the customer and commercial graph; working across the full stack (frontend configuration surfaces, backend, event infrastructure); and mentoring engineers as the org grows.
This is a senior individual contributor role with clear room to grow into technical leadership. You'll own systems end-to-end, from design doc through production support. The team values systems thinking, correctness, long-term maintainability, and shipping useful initial versions informed by customer feedback. You'll work closely with product and design in a fast-moving environment where engineers have real scope and real customer impact.
Required: 5+ years professional software engineering, TypeScript or similar language, willingness to work across the stack. High-volume data ingest experience is a plus. The stack includes TypeScript, Node, NestJS, React, Next.js, Java/Kafka, Postgres, Redis, and ClickHouse—but learning velocity matters more than exact stack experience.
