Salary: PLN 36,000 - 40,000 / monthly
Revolut is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data) to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure and platforms that power decision-making across the organization. You'll work with 75+ million customers globally, supporting a fintech powerhouse offering spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel products.
In this role, you'll design and build efficient, reliable data platforms that streamline end-to-end processes and automate workflows. You'll partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Data Science to translate abstract concepts into practical solutions. Key responsibilities include establishing data standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation, managing a company-wide data registry, and training users on platform capabilities.
You'll plan and execute organization-wide platform changes, ensuring consistent best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You'll leverage data to guide engineering work and ensure insight-driven outcomes across the company.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience. You must be proficient in Python, SQL, and Unix shell scripting, with demonstrated experience implementing agile software development best practices (TDD, refactoring, CI/CD, XP). You'll need expertise in custom ETL design and implementation, workflow orchestration (Airflow), and distributed data processing engines (Trino, Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery).
Nice-to-have skills include experience with large-scale infrastructure applications, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform), data mesh principles, notebook-based data science workflows, and monitoring/logging tools (NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
