Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual

You'll join the Core Experiences Team, which builds and maintains the foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify's product across platforms. This is a critical role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate integration/UX tradeoffs across product teams
- Deliver solutions via cross-platform SDK
- Optimize existing functionality to ship faster loading times and more intelligent parsing through efficient abstractions and algorithm improvements
- Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin
Ideal candidates demonstrate:
- Systems thinking: understanding that optimizing systems requires end-to-end design with a focus on simplicity
- Speed: ability to generate ideas quickly and decide what ships now vs. what needs time
- Focus: capacity to work independently in a high-growth, remote environment
- Collaboration: skill in working with opinionated designers, marketers, and product managers
- Technical expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience acceptable but role focuses on Kotlin Multiplatform)
- GCP experience is a plus
