The Context Model Core team is building a real-time digital twin of enterprise operations that bridges enterprise systems and AI, capturing how business flows across systems to enable organizations and AI agents to optimize complex workflows in real time.
As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will shape the foundation powering the future of Enterprise AI and Process Intelligence. You'll tackle full-stack engineering challenges end-to-end: designing scalable microservices in Java (Spring Boot) and building rich, interactive UI components in Angular and TypeScript. Working closely with product and design teams, you'll transform abstract data modeling into fast, reliable, and intuitive user experiences that impact companies globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement large, complex features in Angular TypeScript
- Lead projects with frontend technologies and architectures
- Develop robust backend services using Java Spring Boot
- Improve the developer work environment (Nx, Jest, OpenAPI, Docker, shell scripting)
- Play an active role in product discussions and roadmap shaping
- Contribute to and extend core architecture and components
- Drive application performance improvements for big data scenarios
- Mentor and grow teammates while setting an example for engineering excellence
- Write clean, testable, understandable code
- Provide constructive feedback on peer designs and code
- Build, launch, and maintain features in production
- Help define a fun and inclusive engineering culture
You'll work on building the next generation of process mining by developing core platform capabilities that power the Celonis Context Model, enabling customers to model business processes as they operate in reality, add semantic meaning to business data, partner with AI/ML teams, and enable connected enterprise-wide process insights.
