Delinea is a cloud-native Identity Security Platform that uses AI-powered intelligence to govern human and machine identities across modern enterprises. The Platform Enablement team designs and operates foundational platform capabilities—including the App Registration service, webhooks, SIEM integration, and tenant experience tools—that enable other engineering teams to build securely on Delinea's microservices architecture. In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will take end-to-end ownership of backend services built in C#/.NET running on Azure and Kubernetes. Your primary focus is the App Registration service, which allows platform services to connect to cloud providers securely and in a controlled manner. You'll design event-driven, asynchronous architectures; develop methods for secure multi-cloud integration; and build self-service tools that increase platform supportability. Key responsibilities include building and operating scalable, highly available backend services; designing secure cloud provider integration patterns; increasing platform supportability through self-service tooling; taking infrastructure-as-code ownership with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines; and collaborating with product, UX, and peer platform teams on code and design reviews. You'll also leverage AI coding agents in your daily workflow to design, write, and review code to the same standard as hand-written implementations, and diagnose complex cross-service issues using telemetry tools like Datadog RUM. You'll report to the Director of Engineering, Platform Intelligence, and work within a global team backed by TPG that values diversity, innovation, and a culture of respect. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET and microservices, hands-on Azure/AWS and Kubernetes expertise, deep cloud security and identity management knowledge, and practical experience integrating AI/ML systems using frameworks like the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Experience with application registration, API keys, SPIFFE, and Workload Identity Federation is a plus.
