As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Systems Engineering team, you will design and implement technical solutions spanning AWS, Salesforce, and NetSuite to support Go-to-Market operations. The team focuses on eliminating bottlenecks and friction points for sales, order, finance, and support teams through process improvements and technical solutions. You will own projects from ideation through release, mentor junior engineers, and drive a culture emphasizing automation over operation, metrics over anecdotes, and proactive problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include designing distributed systems solutions across cloud infrastructure, improving system observability and data reliability, developing customer empathy to propose system improvements, and leading cross-functional technical initiatives. You'll work with foundational AWS services including Kubernetes, Fargate, Lambda, Airflow, Athena, DynamoDB, VPC, and EC2.
Required qualifications: 5+ years software engineering experience with focus on distributed systems at scale, shipped customer-facing products or internal tools, expertise in distributed systems and data processing, and hands-on AWS cloud experience. Bonus experience with data infrastructure and analytics. You must be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment with passion for observability and reliability.
