As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Systems Engineering team, you will own the design and implementation of data platforms and pipelines that power Verkada's Go-to-Market operations. You'll work with sales, order, finance, and support teams to identify bottlenecks, drive process improvements, and deliver technical solutions at scale. Key responsibilities include: - Engineer and maintain platforms and data pipelines that read, mutate, and write data at scale - Determine architecture for systems integrating multiple external vendors (ZoomInfo, Outreach, Marketo, Clay, Rox) and internal systems - Collaborate with GTM teams to advise on engineering solutions to business problems - Improve operational excellence and reliability of existing systems - Contribute to long-term roadmap for GTM data quality - Leverage LLMs to evaluate data state and create consumable artifacts for users You bring 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data systems, deep expertise in distributed systems and data processing, and advanced proficiency in Python and SQL. You're passionate about observability and reliability. A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field is required. This is a full-time, onsite role (5 days/week at San Mateo HQ).
