As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Systems Engineering team, you will own the design and implementation of platforms and data pipelines that power Verkada's Go-to-Market operations. You'll work with sales, order, finance, and support teams to identify bottlenecks, drive process improvements, and deliver technical solutions at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engineer and maintain data platforms and pipelines that read, mutate, and write data at scale
- Design architecture for systems integrating multiple external vendors and internal systems
- Collaborate with GTM teams to translate business problems into engineering solutions
- Improve operational excellence and reliability of existing systems
- Contribute to long-term roadmap for GTM data quality
- Leverage LLMs to evaluate data state and create consumable artifacts for users
You bring 5+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in distributed systems and data processing. You have advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, a passion for observability and reliability, and ideally familiarity with GTM tools (ZoomInfo, Outreach, Marketo, Clay, Rox). Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field required. This is a full-time, onsite role requiring five days per week in San Mateo HQ. Visa sponsorship available.
