As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform team, you'll own the design and development of backend services and infrastructure that power Yoodli's product at scale. Your responsibilities will span analytics, data pipelines, search, infrastructure, monitoring, cost management, security, and system scaling. You'll tackle high-scale technical challenges, establish wide ownership of critical systems, and work directly with the founding team to shape the technical direction of the platform.
You'll need 5+ years of professional development experience with a strong track record shipping production code in fast-moving environments. You should have deep expertise building scalable, reliable backend services; solid experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code; and proficiency in TypeScript or Python with the ability to debug complex distributed systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
The role requires 3 days per week on-site in Seattle (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). You'll work in a culture that values humility, bias for action, and collaborative problem-solving.
