As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement a robust, scalable microservices-based system processing high volumes of clinical data in real-time. Your responsibilities span from architecture to implementation of complex, time-critical systems. You will collaborate with algorithm, data, and product teams to deliver high-quality code using modern technologies.
The tech stack includes AWS, Python, S3, RabbitMQ, Temporal, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Postgres, Docker, Redis, and Prometheus. You will own your team's domain, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability. Success means working independently and collaboratively as needed, proactively suggesting improvements, and maintaining a strong can-do mentality.
Requirements: minimum 5 years backend development experience, expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems, experience with backend pipelines and messaging queues (advantageous), cloud environment experience (advantageous), healthcare tech/EHR/HL7 experience (highly advantageous), and B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or related field.
