You'll join the Web Platform team responsible for content management architecture and systems. This team builds and maintains the infrastructure that creates, serves, and innovates on the financial information that drives user engagement and brand reputation. You'll work on both frontend and backend services, collaborating with senior engineers and architects to design the next generation of content delivery systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning technical and architectural domains within the web platform
- Participating in an Agile Scrum team responsible for running and scaling the website and web products
- Collaborating with product teams and stakeholders to deliver sprint commitments
- Actively participating in key technical decisions and documenting processes
- Guiding technical designs and ensuring successful implementation of team roadmaps
- Mentoring and coaching team members while driving continuous improvement
- Communicating effectively in an asynchronous, fully remote environment
Required experience:
- 3+ years building, maintaining, and scaling highly available, performant web platforms
- Strong expertise in Java (or similar backend languages), ReactJS, and NodeJS
- Deep knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Git
- Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, preferably AWS
- Proven ability to drive success in Agile environments through strategic thinking and clear communication
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and fostering collaborative growth
- Ability to identify risks, create mitigations, and thrive in fast-paced cross-functional teams
Preferred experience:
- Knowledge of least privilege principles and OOP patterns
- CI/CD environment experience
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Incident, release, problem, and change management processes
- Headless WordPress or other CMS integration experience
The role is fully remote with flexibility to work from anywhere in the contiguous US.
