ServiceTitan is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to join the Experience Design (XD) team's design systems group in Bengaluru. Reporting to the UI Engineering Manager for Design Systems, you will be a core contributor to Anvil, ServiceTitan's design system, working at the intersection of design and engineering to build scalable, accessible UI infrastructure for a large SaaS platform serving the home services industry.
You will own design system component development and evolution, partnering with product design and engineering teams across the company to extend shared processes and tooling. A key aspect of this role is leveraging modern AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) to improve team efficiency and building internal infrastructure that helps product teams use design system assets effectively within AI-assisted workflows.
Key responsibilities include: contributing production-level code to the design system; building tools and automation for testing, CI/CD, documentation, and accessibility; designing component and API structures; documenting engineering standards and patterns; driving design system adoption across the company through communication and metrics; and maintaining repository integrity and security.
You bring strong production experience building web UIs with React and modern tooling (TypeScript, Vanilla Extract, Sass, Vite). You have hands-on experience with AI codegen tools and understand core AI concepts (LLMs, MCPs, skills, tools). You've built complex libraries used by multiple teams and have solid systems thinking—understanding how changes propagate. You're proficient in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, with excellent communication and empathetic listening skills. You take ownership, prioritize collaboratively, and can articulate design trade-offs clearly.
