Scope is an AI-native data collection platform automating documentation for field workers across infrastructure inspection, manufacturing, and facility management. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own problems end-to-end—from user conversations through design, implementation, and validation. You'll build systems that transform voice notes, photos, and videos into finished reports using AI. Key responsibilities include engineering the data pipeline that feeds context to AI models (standards, reports, media, user intent), evolving the workflow builder into self-evolving software, and designing the architecture for how unstructured data flows through the system while maintaining seamless offline/online behavior.
You'll work on mobile-first applications (React Native/Expo preferred) and make architectural decisions about AI integration, data storage, and product simplicity at scale. The role requires deep technical expertise, 5+ years of experience, and a track record of knowing which technical decisions matter. You should be highly agentic—someone who cares more about shipping results than collecting badges.
Scope operates in-person five days a week from their Farringdon office in London, believing that co-location accelerates problem-solving and team cohesion. The company is building the world's largest dataset on built-world infrastructure conditions and the decisions experts make about them, operating in a $2T market.
