Ripple is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Liquidity Management team in Sydney. This role is central to a major modernization initiative rebuilding Ripple Treasury's platform from the ground up with cloud-native architecture, modern UX, and support for both traditional and digital assets.
The Liquidity Management team builds core platform capabilities that give treasury professionals real-time visibility into cash and liquidity positions across banks, accounts, currencies, and legal entities worldwide. The team serves enterprise customers operating across 40+ countries, helping them optimize funding, manage intercompany liquidity structures, and deploy idle cash.
In this role, you will leverage Azure services to craft scalable, fault-tolerant cloud-based solutions. You'll champion quality through rigorous unit, integration, and non-functional testing (performance, security). You'll implement world-class observability to derive deep application insights and solve problems proactively. You'll mentor fellow engineers, lead technical design reviews, and continuously improve team operations and technology choices.
The role participates in the YBIYRI (you-build-it-you-run-it) model, including on-call pager rotation responsibilities.
Required: Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years application development experience. Expertise in .NET and C#, Azure Services, Microsoft SQL Server, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Proven ability to influence and mentor developers in agile environments. Strong cloud architecture and modern deployment practices knowledge.
Preferred: Financial industry experience (treasury systems, payments, FX, ERP), understanding of high-volume transactional processing architectures.
