Replicant is building an AI-first platform for enterprise contact centers, powering millions of conversations monthly for Fortune 500 companies. The platform uses large language models and voice AI to handle customer service tasks—from payments to appointments to authentication—while providing real-time conversation intelligence to help leaders coach agents and improve interactions.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll design and deliver technology that powers natural, human-like conversations at scale. You'll build rich user experiences and backend services enabling customers to design, launch, and monitor AI-powered conversations. Working across TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python on Kubernetes/GCP, you'll ship full-stack features end-to-end with high impact in days rather than weeks.
Key responsibilities include building features for Replicant's core AI voice and chat products; integrating speech recognition, text-to-speech, and conversational AI improvements; refactoring and optimizing production systems for latency, cost, and user experience; participating in on-call rotations; and shaping a culture emphasizing knowledge sharing and mentorship. You'll collaborate closely with product and machine learning teams to ensure customers can build compelling conversations.
You bring 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally in SaaS, AI, or complex real-time systems. You've owned and shipped elegant, scalable solutions serving millions of users, raised engineering standards in your teams, and demonstrated strong collaboration skills. You're proficient in TypeScript/React, Node.js backend systems, Python, or Rust; familiar with relational databases, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines; and enthusiastic about AI, machine learning, and telephony. You use AI tools effectively for writing, debugging, and refactoring code, and design quality testing strategies including automated, manual, and AI-driven approaches.
