Project44 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join p44LSP.ai, a dedicated AI-native division serving the logistics service provider market (freight forwarders, brokers, 3PLs). This is a small, hand-picked team operating across Chicago, San Francisco, Bangalore, and the EU with a flat organizational structure.
You will design, build, and operate backend systems powering decision intelligence capabilities for logistics service providers. The role emphasizes shipping fast—customers pilot in weeks and provide direct feedback. You'll work in an Agile environment close to the product and customers, not as a cog in a large machine.
Project44 is a $124M business with 259K carriers in its network, billions of shipment outcomes, and agents already in production. p44LSP.ai leverages this infrastructure—the data graph, carrier network, and enterprise relationships—while operating with the scope and ownership of an AI startup. The LSP market is moving rapidly; AI agent startups serving this segment are growing 300%+ year-over-year.
The company expects all team members to actively leverage AI in their day-to-day work with intent, curiosity, and judgment.
