New Relic is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join its global team of innovators building an intelligent observability platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality Salesforce solutions that support the company's Sales, Revenue, and Finance teams.
You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to automate processes and build custom applications on the Salesforce platform. Your responsibilities will span the full development lifecycle, from initial design and solution architecture through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Key duties include configuring Salesforce to meet business requirements, writing Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components, integrating Salesforce with other systems, performing data migrations, and staying current with the latest Salesforce features. You will handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, configuration, and customization
- Advanced Apex programming skills, including batch jobs, triggers, web services, and unit testing
- Experience with Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Force.com integration technologies
- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce data model and governor limits
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile)
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II certification
- Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, and/or React
- Experience developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ platform
