As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a world-class team of quantum and AI experts with strong academic and industry backgrounds. You'll work with Fortune-500 customers from government and private sectors, contributing to groundbreaking compression tools and tackling high-value open problems from industry. You'll take on technical leadership, working alongside software and DevOps engineers, machine learning specialists, and quantum experts to industrialize core technologies.
Required qualifications include a proven track record designing and implementing production-grade software under real load, solid understanding of clean architecture, SOLID principles, and software design patterns. You must have experience with service-level architecture (API design, layered architectures, event-driven patterns), software security principles, containerized deployment (Docker), and CI/CD concepts. Soft skills include the ability to propose solutions to unfamiliar problems, break down complex cross-repo issues, mentor mid-level engineers, communicate technical risk clearly, and collaborate cross-functionally without requiring management mediation.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to PyTorch and HuggingFace Transformers, familiarity with ML infrastructure concepts (training orchestration, experiment tracking, GPU scheduling), awareness of LLM techniques (distillation, quantization, pruning), and GPU-aware engineering experience (CUDA, mixed precision, multi-GPU). Infrastructure experience with ECR, ArgoCD/Helm, async job orchestration, CLI frameworks, and Python packaging is valued.
