Moov Financial is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering team building next-generation fintech and payment systems. The company empowers developers to embed payment functionality into their applications, positioning itself as a developer-first platform for the modern payments ecosystem.
In this role, you will design and build production services using Go, microservices architecture, databases, and cloud solutions. You'll work on complex financial products, create APIs and tooling to support customer-facing services, and own the full release lifecycle from feature development through public and hosted deployment. Key responsibilities include mentoring fellow engineers, reproducing and resolving customer issues, collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams, and contributing to system documentation.
A distinctive aspect of this role is your involvement with Moov's agentic toolset. You will collaborate with and guide AI agents to produce high-quality, maintainable, and traceable code. You'll be responsible for ensuring AI-generated code meets Moov's strict engineering standards, including proper telemetry, error handling, and test-first design principles. This requires both technical depth and the ability to work effectively at the intersection of human and AI-driven development.
You should demonstrate high self-reliance, capable of taking complex requirements and executing independently. You'll maintain high standards for code quality, testability, and observability across all work.
