Jazz is a cybersecurity startup founded in 2024 that reimagines Data Loss Prevention (DLP) using AI. Rather than relying on rigid rule-based systems that generate noise, Jazz deploys a forensic endpoint agent paired with an Agentic Investigator that learns your business context and delivers pre-investigated, actionable answers. The platform is designed to be operated by a single person and is already deployed with customers worldwide.
You will join the AI Cybersecurity team as a Senior Software Engineer responsible for architecting and building the core systems powering Jazz's AI security engine. This is a full-lifecycle engineering role spanning backend infrastructure, AI agent development, and product integration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and build backend infrastructure for secure, scalable AI workflows
- Develop core systems for multi-agent reasoning, retrieval pipelines, and tool execution
- Productionize AI models and agent workflows with strong reliability and performance guarantees
- Integrate AI services across the product stack, from backend APIs to user-facing workflows
- Own systems end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Apply secure engineering principles across APIs, data flows, infrastructure, and deployment
You should have 6+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Python proficiency and distributed systems expertise. Required skills include building and operating scalable backend infrastructure (FastAPI, Kafka/Redis, Docker/Kubernetes, observability), secure software design principles, and the ability to own features end-to-end. Familiarity with LLM/AI concepts (agents, retrieval, vector search) and production AI systems is essential.
This is a high-ownership role in an early-stage environment where you'll work directly with elite engineers and founders who have built large-scale systems. The office is located at Sonol Tower in Tel Aviv, next to Carlebach train station.
