You'll join as a Senior Software Engineer in a flexible team-matching process, with current openings across three core areas: Borrower Acquisition (scaling communication platforms to reach borrowers with targeted messaging), Borrower Activation (building portal features to help people resolve accounts and regain financial stability), and Compliance & Money Operations (ensuring accurate, scalable, compliant financial systems supporting large-scale money movement).
In this role, you'll own product outcomes beyond writing code—setting technical direction, mentoring junior engineers, and designing scalable systems serving millions of borrowers and financial partners. You'll contribute to architecture and roadmap planning, influence core project direction, lead by example through engineering excellence, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Operations teams. You'll also help shape organization-wide engineering processes alongside other senior leaders.
You bring 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong technical expertise (Python, React, Postgres, AWS preferred, though diverse backgrounds welcome). You have a track record building and maintaining production-grade systems at scale, a product-oriented mindset focused on user and business impact, and strong collaboration skills suited to fast-paced, dynamic environments. The role is based in January's New York office.
