Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 / annual

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and other engineers to identify business problems and architect, build, and verify solutions. You'll contribute to building a platform that enables lawyers to scale themselves and their businesses 100x more effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to spec, design, and build features and systems
- Creating polished, accessible, and mobile-friendly user interfaces using modern front-end technologies
- Contributing to front-end architecture discussions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Partnering with quality engineers to define, build, and maintain testing strategy
- Mentoring and providing thoughtful feedback to team members
- Helping interview and recruit talented engineers
- Working on a modern stack built with TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Docker containers in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform
This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco office with required attendance at least twice weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for collaboration and connection, with potential additional in-office days for team or company events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 4+ years of software experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex web applications (formal degree not required; industry experience prioritized)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks like ReactJS
- Passion for creating accessible, intuitive, and mobile-friendly interfaces
- Passion for software engineering to build and ship high-quality products
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
