Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will independently drive and deliver medium-to-large projects from conception through deployment. You'll proactively collaborate with Product Management to define business requirements, scope options, and ensure alignment with departmental and company goals. You'll architect and implement high-quality solutions, write clean, well-tested code following best practices, and drive architecture reviews for multi-developer projects. You'll serve as a technical expert in key systems, introducing new paradigms and improving existing systems. You'll implement tooling and process changes that increase team velocity and efficacy, work with product leadership to inform the roadmap, and provide reliable estimates for medium-sized projects. You'll mentor teammates, increase their velocity by unblocking them and sharing expertise, and contribute to building a positive, inclusive environment. You'll participate in the interview and hiring process, proactively monitor for issues and bugs, master the daily-use toolchain, and create and refactor documentation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline, plus two years of experience in software engineering or a related field. Required technical skills include TypeScript, ReactJS, Node, Java, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, .NET, MongoDB, C#, C, and HTML & CSS. Part-time telecommuting is available; hybrid work from Ironclad's San Francisco office.
