Salary: USD 130,000 - 220,000 / annual

Gradial is a marketing operations platform that uses AI to help creative teams move from idea to execution faster. The company orchestrates across martech stacks, workflows, and people to automate marketing execution and reduce time-to-delivery. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the development of AI-native systems that redefine how creative teams build and update websites. You'll be an early engineer integral to figuring out how to use and program LLMs to transform how people work. Key responsibilities include: - Design and implement systems that convert natural language into intelligent, multi-step workflows using generative AI - Architect and scale an LLM agent for real-time inference, dynamic prompting, and tool orchestration - Drive technical direction across the full stack—backend systems to front-end UX—with focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability - Design systems that learn over time by integrating customer feedback, usage data, and brand preferences - Mentor and guide other engineers; influence engineering culture, standards, and best practices - Collaborate with design and product to reshape software in real-time, adding/removing features and adjusting layout dynamically - Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance through strong testing, deployment, and observability practices - Own problems end-to-end without silos Required qualifications: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience - Proven track record delivering complex systems in fast-paced or ambiguous environments - Deep technical expertise in algorithms, distributed systems, and software design - Strong communication skills and ability to influence across functions - Experience solving high-variance or unstructured problems with elegant, product-minded solutions - Background in math, physics, systems engineering, or similar technical domains - High ownership mindset with track record of 0→1 building Nice-to-have skills include experience in high-growth startups, familiarity with AI/ML tooling and LLMs, and proficiency with TypeScript or similar languages.
