Filevine is a Legal AI company building Legal Operating Intelligence for modern legal work. The company has developed LOIS (Legal Operating Intelligence System), a platform that unifies data, documents, workflows, and teams to transform legal operations from reactive to proactive.
You'll join the team behind MedChron, Filevine's AI-powered Medical Chronology product. MedChron automates the analysis of thousands of pages of medical records and bills, generating accurate, source-cited timelines for legal cases—saving legal teams days of manual review work.
The role is a full-stack engineering position where you'll own features end to end. On the backend, you'll work with Python/Django services and Temporal workflows orchestrating AI pipelines running on AWS and Kubernetes. On the frontend, you'll build interfaces using Svelte/React that are embedded in the Filevine platform and used daily by lawyers.
You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services, managing workflow orchestration, and developing the user interfaces that legal professionals depend on. The work involves solving real-world customer problems, owning complete features from conception through deployment, and helping shape how Filevine builds software at scale.
