As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work with massive-scale data infrastructure serving Fortune 1000 customers. Your responsibilities include:
**Data & Infrastructure**: Work with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) to fetch and process petabytes of customer cloud assets. Research and implement innovative approaches to transform big data into actionable security insights. Continuously optimize for resource efficiency, cost, and runtime performance.
**Product Ownership**: Design and own new product features end-to-end. Collaborate with product managers to finalize requirements and scope. Partner with data scientists to optimize machine learning models for production at massive scale. Apply 80/20 thinking—prioritize high-impact work in a lean, fast-moving environment.
**Production Excellence**: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines. Automate and orchestrate processes for efficiency. Enhance production monitoring and observability to detect and resolve issues quickly.
**Technical Stack**: The team uses TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Kubernetes, Kafka, TypeORM, Jest, and microservices architecture. Deep expertise in databases, cloud technologies, virtual machines, cloud security, identity management, data security, and performance optimization is valued.
