Salary: USD 128,000 - 210,000 / annual
Boulevard is a client experience platform for appointment-based self-care businesses (salons, spas, medspa, barbershops). Founded in 2016, the company empowers customers to deliver exceptional experiences to their clients through modern, user-friendly software.
We are hiring multiple fullstack engineers at Senior I and Senior II levels. Each team owns a domain (onboarding, payments, customer experiences) and has autonomy over technical decisions and product delivery.
Senior Engineer I responsibilities: Lead small initiatives within your squad in partnership with Product and Design. Senior Engineer II responsibilities: Lead large initiatives and help shape domain-wide technical vision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead initiatives from inception to completion, owning technical delivery
- Collaborate on technical vision while promoting excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Champion maintenance and continuous improvement of observable, secure, and efficient codebases
- Lead and mentor engineers in career development
- Partner with product, design, marketing, and executive stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in on-call rotation
Tech stack: Elixir, Postgres, GraphQL, React, Typescript, AWS. Prior Elixir experience not required.
Requirements:
- Senior I: 5+ years full-stack experience building well-architected systems at scale
- Senior II: 6+ years full-stack experience building well-architected systems at scale
- Track record of leading and delivering complex projects by partnering with others
- Desire to work in high-velocity environment with continuous learning
- Front-end specialists: experience building great UX with design sensibility
- Backend specialists: proficiency in modern backend system design and architecture
