As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build AI-driven products that empower marketers to acquire subscribers and drive sustainable revenue growth. You'll contribute to overall code quality and system architecture through direct code contributions, code reviews, and long-term technical leadership to support scalable, maintainable solutions. Your responsibilities include developing high-quality consumer experiences that meet standards of performance, scalability, reliability, and usability.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Design teams to deliver user-focused solutions while maintaining quality and minimizing technical debt. You'll implement robust testing and quality assurance practices, proactively preventing regressions through unit, integration, and automated testing strategies. The role requires applying advanced software engineering and computer science principles to design, develop, and enhance complex software systems, as well as architecting and integrating distributed and large-scale systems using system engineering best practices.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. Required technical expertise: 3+ years developing backend services and high-scale, data-driven applications using Java, Python, and Go; 3+ years building modern, responsive web UIs with React and TypeScript; 3+ years with modern frontend tools (ESBuild, Playwright); 1+ year implementing Operational Excellence frameworks in cloud environments; 1+ year designing scalable microservices and modular front-end systems; 1+ year deploying and managing cloud applications on AWS with Kubernetes.
The role is hybrid with partial telecommuting permitted; primary office location is 136 Madison Avenue, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
