You will join the Edge organization as a Senior Software Engineer, architecting and developing core services that power the Armada Edge Platform. This role sits at the intersection of software, networking, and platform infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities include:
**Unified Edge Orchestration:** Design and build the integration fabric that unifies hybrid fleets of Azure Local, OpenShift, and Kubernetes clusters, enabling seamless orchestration across heterogeneous edge environments.
**Network Automation:** Develop automation software that provisions and manages the physical network fabric—writing code that bootstraps firewalls, switches, and compute nodes as a unified system.
**Core Platform Services:** Architect distributed systems and microservices that handle the complexity of edge deployment, including service discovery, configuration management, and lifecycle automation.
**Infrastructure as Code:** Build tooling and frameworks that enable infrastructure provisioning at scale, with emphasis on reliability, observability, and operational simplicity.
You will own significant technical scope, driving design decisions and mentoring junior engineers. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in distributed systems, container orchestration, networking protocols, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate has shipped production systems at scale, understands the challenges of hybrid cloud and edge computing, and can navigate the complexity of integrating multiple orchestration platforms.
The role is based in Bellevue, Washington, at Armada's Sunset Corporate Campus office.
