Aqua Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the server team responsible for developing and maintaining the management console—a multi-component system handling background jobs, large-scale data processing, REST APIs, web-based UI, and more.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of Aqua's management console across the full application stack: SQL queries, business logic, background processes, REST APIs, and web-based user interfaces. Your code will power security solutions deployed on thousands of customer servers worldwide, serving large technology companies, banks, government agencies, and multinational enterprises.
Aqua Security's platform secures container-based and cloud-native applications from development to production. The product is composed of multiple components, mostly installed on-premise in customer cloud environments, with additional SaaS components, CI/CD plugins, and more. Nearly everything runs inside containers. The tech stack is primarily Go (Google's language) with heavy reliance on open-source components. The web UI is built in VueJS. While primarily a Linux company, the software also supports Windows and Mac.
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the Aqua Hyderabad office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).
