Salary: USD 153,000 - 222,000 / annual

You will join a team of software engineers designing elegant solutions for complex autonomy challenges. This role spans the full stack—from infrastructure and robotics to graphics and frontend systems. You'll work across Applied Intuition's suite of products, taking ownership of technical and product decisions while collaborating closely with customers and domain experts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new products, features, and tools for autonomy development workflows
- Contributing to design documents and architectural decisions
- Mentoring and supporting other software engineers
- Collaborating with infrastructure, robotics, graphics engineers, and startup veterans
- Carving out areas of technical expertise and influencing product direction
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years shipping complex software
- Proficiency in C++, Python, JavaScript, Java, or Golang
- Significant contributions to design documents
- Experience mentoring software engineers
Nice-to-have skills include frontend/API/containerization experience (React, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with simulation tools, robotics middleware (ROS), or physical modeling.
Applied Intuition is headquartered in Sunnyvale with offices globally (DC, San Diego, London, Stuttgart, Munich, Stockholm, Bangalore, Seoul, Tokyo). The company operates primarily in-office (5 days/week) with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments.
