Salary: USD 191,360 - 287,040 / annual
6sense is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise to design and build scalable systems that power their analytics and revenue intelligence platform. You will architect APIs, microservices, and distributed systems while collaborating across product, data, and design teams. The role emphasizes technical excellence, system design contributions, and mentoring of junior engineers.
Key responsibilities include designing and building scalable backend systems and APIs, developing robust production-grade applications, architecting microservices and distributed systems, writing clean code, contributing to technical decisions, and mentoring junior team members.
You bring 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Python and/or Java. You have hands-on experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and excellent communication are essential.
Bonus qualifications include exposure to Golang and TypeScript, experience in high-growth SaaS environments, familiarity with data platforms or analytics systems, and prior experience mentoring or leading engineers.
