Delinea is an identity security platform that uses AI-powered intelligence to govern human and machine identities across cloud and traditional infrastructure. The company secures identities throughout their lifecycle and enables organizations to discover all identities, assign appropriate access levels, detect irregularities, and respond to threats in real-time.
In this role, you will build discovery capabilities for AI agents running across enterprise environments. You'll work on extending Delinea's existing cloud discovery platform to identify AI agents wherever they run—starting with Microsoft Azure and expanding to AWS and Google Cloud. You'll also develop discovery mechanisms for AI agents running on endpoints, a newer and critical security surface.
Your responsibilities include assessing the security posture of discovered agents by analyzing their configuration, access permissions, and risk profile. You'll integrate discovered agents and their contextual information into Delinea's identity and attribution layer, enabling the platform to govern them effectively. You'll partner closely with platform teams whose discovery services your work builds upon.
You'll need 8+ years of experience building production cloud or SaaS backend systems, with hands-on experience using cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and building asset discovery or inventory systems. You should have experience extending or integrating with existing platforms, not just greenfield development. Strong backend programming skills in C#, Go, Java, or Python are essential, along with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems and select sound technical approaches with limited direction.
Desirable experience includes endpoint agent or device management technologies, security posture management (CSPM/CIEM), and familiarity with AI agent frameworks and authentication mechanisms. This role reports directly to the Director of Engineering, Securing AI, and offers meaningful work on critical security challenges at scale.
