Delinea is a cloud-native Identity Security Platform that secures human and machine identities through intelligent, centralized authorization. The company uses AI-powered intelligence to govern identity interactions across cloud infrastructure, data, SaaS applications, and AI systems.
In this role, you will serve as Senior Software Engineer and Technical Owner of platform integrations. You'll gain deep understanding of the technology and systems underpinning the service, enabling you to troubleshoot issues, evaluate changes, and make informed technical decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, maintain, and deploy scalable and highly available cloud-based applications using C#/.NET and client-installed agents
- Implement and maintain high standards of software quality and security through regular code and process reviews
- Collaborate with product management, architecture, and customer support to incorporate user feedback into product development
- Work within Scrum processes with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions
- Optimize applications and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-production issues in collaboration with support and customers
- Improve development and automation processes, including code quality, E2E testing, security scans, monitoring, and incident response
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, fostering continuous learning
- Contribute to shared code, tooling, and techniques across Platform teams
The platform manages 600+ integrations across various technology stacks, so you'll work with multiple programming languages including Python, Go, Erlang, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with minimum 3+ years in Software Design and Architecture, with focus on .NET development
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and learn large codebases
- Polyglot developer capabilities with decent fluency across multiple programming languages (Python, Go, Erlang, JS, TypeScript, etc.)
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core development
- Experience with Azure DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automation testing
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices
Desired qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM), Secret Server/Vault solutions, and cybersecurity principles
- Experience developing security-focused software
- Direct customer interaction experience in support capacity
- SQL and code optimization experience
- FedRAMP environment experience
- Significant Azure Cloud tech stack development experience
