Delinea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its product engineering team in Mexico City. You'll lead full-stack development of cross-browser web extensions using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, integrating with REST-based backend microservices. This role combines individual technical excellence with mentorship responsibilities—you'll guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing while driving architectural decisions alongside product and UX teams.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing performant, accessible web extensions; enforcing coding standards and best practices; investigating and resolving complex production issues; optimizing application performance; and staying current with emerging frontend technologies. You'll work within Scrum processes, collaborating across a globally distributed team.
Required qualifications: expert-level React proficiency (React Query, Hooks, Context); strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript skills; deep HTML5/CSS3 knowledge including responsive design and accessibility (ARIA); experience building and maintaining browser extensions; REST API integration; familiarity with design patterns and SOLID principles; modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm/yarn, CI/CD); testing expertise (unit, integration, E2E); version control; and strong problem-solving abilities.
Desirable: browser extension development experience, C#/.NET background, web security principles knowledge, Azure DevOps/pipelines experience, and YAML familiarity.
