Zscaler is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Risk360 department in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. You will contribute to the world's largest cloud security platform, serving over 15 million users across 185 countries.
In this role, you will develop full-stack features spanning data transformations, enrichment, analytics, and user-facing dashboards. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing performant web applications using ReactJS for data visualization, building and maintaining data processing pipelines for ingestion and transformation, establishing monitoring mechanisms for platform health, and collaborating with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
You should have 3+ years of enterprise software development experience, with solid expertise in Core Java, concurrency, distributed computing, and SQL. Frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, and responsive design are essential. Experience with test-driven development frameworks (JUnit, REST Assured, TestNG, Jest) is required.
Preferred qualifications include building scalable web applications handling large datasets, GraphQL knowledge, state management frameworks like Redux, JVM performance tuning, understanding of security compliance frameworks, and familiarity with statistics and machine learning.
