As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll join the European SRE team responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports Tempo's engineering department. You'll work on designing stable, highly available, cost-efficient, and extensible solutions while collaborating with the global SRE team that develops core designs and standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using best practices
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy enterprise-scale projects on AWS
- Work with Kubernetes and other modern technologies
- Automate build, release, monitoring, alerting, and observability processes
- Design technical solutions that improve speed and quality
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Ensure security and compliance requirements are met
- Collaborate across teams on infrastructure and product initiatives
You bring 5+ years of relevant experience with strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Linux, Bash, and Terraform. You have hands-on experience with monitoring/alerting systems, cloud deployments (AWS or equivalent), and solid understanding of software design patterns. You're analytical, proactive, and excel at communication and collaboration. Experience with Helm, FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Datadog, Java/Kotlin applications, or the Atlassian ecosystem is a plus.
