As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer II, you will own reliability and observability across the organization, taking responsibility for SLAs/SLOs, instrumentation, and on-call health. You'll design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure (Helm, EKS/ECS) and core AWS services including RDS/Aurora Postgres, networking, and scaling. You'll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Argo/Helm, and drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code standards (Terraform, Crossplane) across multiple engineering teams.
This role requires partnering with 16+ engineering teams to roll out new standards, tools, and processes while adapting to each team's unique workflows. You'll participate in on-call rotation, lead incident response and root-cause analysis for cross-team issues, and represent the SRE perspective in planning conversations with engineering leadership. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and daily use of AI tools to work faster and help teammates adopt similar practices.
Required qualifications include 8-10 years as a Senior SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer at smaller-to-mid-size, high-growth SaaS companies (Series A/B through C/D). You need deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Helm/Argo, plus real database experience with Postgres and DocumentDB across RDS/Aurora. You must have a track record of cross-functional work and already use AI as part of your actual workflow. Preferred experience includes Crossplane and Datadog. The company values proactivity, comfort driving change across teams, and genuine technical fluency in explaining decisions.
